The Story of Slimbridge Remembers and the Wire Soldiers

Taking place on

The society’s work to commemorate all those from the parish who served in World War I makes a compelling story. You will, we are sure, remember what happened this time last year when Slimbridge featured on news and social media around the world.

The society’s chairman, Den Bannister, will relate the story of how this all came about after the Remembrance service. The talk in the Village Hall is open to all, whether you attended the service or not, and refreshments will be provided. Entry is free, donations to St John’s church.
