Tony Roberts, of Archeoscan, is the lead archaeologist and joint project manager. Following a distinguished career as an air traffic controller, Tony returned to his first love of archaeology. An Associate of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, he set up Archeoscan to provide opportunities for public involvement in archaeology, giving people the chance to participate in excavations at various exciting sites in the Cotswolds area.
Lee James, chair of Slimbridge Local History Society and joint project manager. Lee, Estate Forester at The Ernest Cook Trust, has a long-standing passion for history. This sparked from his childhood while playing in woodland with his brother, where they found a Neolithic axe head, which was donated to the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. He has a keen interest in military history and has accumulated quite the collection of military hardware!
