One of the best ways you can support the Slimbridge Local History Society is by becoming a member. Membership is open to everyone – whether resident in the parish, the county or further afield.
Membership benefits include -
- Free entry to all presentations by guest speakers in the village hall (including refreshments afterwards)
- Access to the Digital Archive - our digital archive of the society’s records, including maps, personal histories and photographs.
- The opportunity to get involved in History Society research and projects.
- Invitations to additional outings during the year (small additional charges may sometimes apply).
Annual membership runs for a calendar year from the society’s Annual General Meeting in February and the annual fee for 2027 is still only £10.

Visitors
Visitors are most welcome to any of our presentations. The entrance fee of £4 can be paid on the door.
Under 16s
Under 16s accompanied by an adult are welcome to come to the talks free of charge.
