It was a pleasure to involve our local school in learning about the history of the parish. Unlike previous detectorists who simply looted what they found and left us with rubbish, Lee has shared his finds with the community. The children asked intelligent questions about how the finds were used and the lives of the emperors shown on the coins.

Lee went on to Marling School later where the students and staff were fascinated to see and handle artefacts from over 1500 years ago.
