The BBC will be coming to Slimbridge to film preparations for our WW1 commemoration exhibition. They are planning a programme looking at the impact of the war on rural communities which is exactly what we set out to do. The filming schedule will be decided in the next few weeks and the programme, which is an episode of Countryfile Diaries with John Craven, will air in the week preceding remembrance weekend. This is great recognition for the parish and the history society and reflects well on all parts of the community that are involved.
