The family of David Porter have reached out to Slimbridge Local History Society for help. Unfortunately when the war memorial was renovated as part of the millennium celebrations his name was accidentally changed from “Walter David Porter” to “William D Porter”. SLHS are raising money so that we can have this corrected. Please read full post
